![]() Background: Pharmacy Channel is the world's premier digital point-of-sales media network for independent pharmacies. The Channel enables personal-care brands, pharmaceutical makers, and government agencies to effectively and efficiently connect with pharmacists and consumers at the point of decision making. Challenge: Independent pharmacies are over half of the pharmacy market, and each store presents unique technical issues (in contrast to chain stores that typically have a common floor plan and consistent technical infrastructure). So, DVM needed to provide a highly robust and cost-effective solution that could be implemented in many different in-store environments across a broad geography. Solution: DVM deployed a network of custom-designed video displays in locations highly visible to consumers and staff. The centralized control and scalable media management enables site-specific messages across an expanding portfolio of locations, across both the UK and the USA. Pharmacies offer a highly captive audience located close to the point of purchase and are therefore a very attractive proposition to advertisers. In terms of performance sales uplifts for advertised products have been between 65% and 180% compared to sales prior to installation. |
